Park rules for school groups
Instructions and tips for guides
Park rules
In order to have the day go as pleasantly as possible for
you and your school and, of course, also for our animals, the park
has a few rules. Regretfully these rules came from experience. By
setting these rules the management of the park hopes that you and
your group, and also other visitors of the park, will experience a
pleasant day at our park. A copy of the park rules can be requested
at the Reception desk.
1) The guides are responsible for all of the actions of the
students.
2) The students are not permitted to walk around in the park
unsupervised.
3) We advise you to bring a mobile telephone with you on the day of
your visit. We would appreciate it if you left this number at the
Cash Register, so we can reach you in the park should this be
necessary. For example in case of an emergency.
Arrival by bus
If you arrive by coach, we kindly ask you to tell the driver to
only let the group get off the bus in the parking area. The
employees at the parking area will direct you to the right
place.
Entry
After the entrance tickets have been picked up at Cash Register 1
you, together with our ticket inspector, can count the students and
enter the park at one time. After all, only you know who belongs
with the group. This will prevent accidentally counting people who
do not belong to your group.
Lockers
You will find the lockers on the left immediately after you enter
the park (costs €0.50 per locker).
Restrooms
Children of a pre-school and/or primary school, provided that they
are well supervised, can use the toilet at the Park Restaurant
(near Burgers' Adventure land) for free.
FIRST AID
You will find FIRST AID stations at the Main Entrance (Reception),
at the Bush Restaurant and at the Park Restaurant (near Burgers'
Adventure land).
Safety Regulations
In the Bush, Desert, Ocean and Rimba it is very important that the
guides really supervise the students very well:
1) Stay on the paths.
2) Do not pick flowers and/or leaves.
3) Do not run (this includes the Adventure tunnel connecting the
Bush with the Desert).
4) Do not climb on rocks.
5) Do not touch the windows (glass).
