The visitors

Your visit to the desert starts underground. The adventure tunnel between the Bush and the Desert brings you to a cool cave where you will meet some of the previously mentioned animals that are trying to avoid the heat of the desert. The granite rocks are perfect copies of formations in the Mojave Desert.
Above-ground the path winds on past rattle snakes and peccaries. Again and again new impressive panoramas appear where colourful birds can emerge or large vultures can hover. For the attentive visitor details like petroglyphs (images in the rocks) made by the Indians, all kinds of shapes of erosion of the rocks, such as a spectacular rock arch, as well as the differences in plant growth in the various biotopes, can be discovered everywhere. Although it is a very open landscape, the visitors still mostly stay out of each other's view due to the rock formations and sand dunes. Close to the oasis you will find a restaurant that has been created in the Peublo Style. Underneath sun blind ramadas (shelters) you can absolutely enjoy this truly amazingly unique landscape.
