The visitors

Visitors of the Burgers' Safari first walk past the living areas of the cheetahs and the lion families, which they can view from a wooden observation cabin. A little further down they pass a watering place for the animals, where, with a little luck, the white rhinoceros will quench his thirst. Soon after the open savannah landscape unfolds, where large groups of giraffes, zebras and antilope reside. The enormous mass of rocks on the edge of the savannah is known in Africa as a 'kopje'. Your trip takes you via a covered wooden walking bridge ever closer to this rock formation until, at some point, you are even walking on top of it. A small path offers a way through the rocks, which tower up to 15 metres high above the ground. Between these rocks, on an extensive terrace, you can enjoy the view across the savannah, while you relish African dishes and drinks. Just before the 'kopje' an additional drinking place has been created for the large grazing animals, which you can also view while you rest.
